China Star opened its doors in Country Club Hills with a simple conviction: that great Chinese food doesn't need to be rushed. Our kitchen follows the rhythms of traditional technique — hand-pulled noodles, slow-simmered broths, and woks fired at the temperature that gives every dish its unmistakable breath of flame.
We source locally whenever possible and import key ingredients directly. The five-spice comes from a supplier in Guangdong. Our rice is aged to the perfect texture. And our dim sum is made fresh every morning, by hand.
Whether you're joining us for a quick weekday lunch or a weekend gathering with family, we want every visit to feel like a seat at our table — warm, unhurried, and genuine.
